bugs bunny meets the abominable snowman...daffy is mistaken by the snowman as a pet...saying "i will love him & pet him a & name him george
the snowman was nearsighted & thought daffy waas bugs
i always felt sorry for the snowman,,, he melted cause bugs took him to florida

It's a looney tunes episode....where Bug Bunny and Daffy Duck are traveling and they end up in like the North Pole or something. Then they find the "abominible snowman" and he wants a bunny for his pet and he grabs Bugs/Daffy and says that line.

Bugs Bunny! I loved that cartoon when I was a kid! I would pretend like I was the abominable snowman & my teddy bear was Bugs Bunny.

Elmyra on Tiny Toons used to croon, "I'll hug it and keep it and name it George." I believe it also came from an older Looney Tunes cartoon, making fun of Liberace.
