Would true love be worth it if it meant unintentionally alienating your close friends? What do you hold more dear: Many friends to hang out with and have fun, or that one person with who you wish to spend the rest of your life?

To me, that's a unreasonable proposition, because i would never fall in love with someone that I would have to give up my friends for. As they say,' birds of a feather stick together', so if
he's not accepting this 'flock' then he wouldn't be accepting a big part of of me. Forget about it.. move on, in this universe surly there are more possibilities of just "one" love..in love you should be complete-your mate cannot fill in all the joys & needs that only a close friend does...
and as the song goes- don't start no stuff, won't be no stuff, why even start something that
would alienate you from your close friends!!!

I'd choose my friends. We've been friends for a really long time and they've helped me through a lot. Sometimes people fall out of love or you stop trusting them. But friends they'll always be there for you. At least my friends will I don't know about everyone elses. Besides if it was real, true, lasting your entire life love, they'd understand because we're all looking for it.

A true love would not want you to desert your close friends, and real friends would not desert you if you fell in love. If it's not possible to have both, then something is wrong either with your friends or with your true love!
