Whre is the "irrefutable' evidence?

Scratchy, blurry films; questionable crop circles, repressed memories that are uncertain at best.

We know dinosaurs existed, as we have evidence. Yet, in all the years man has been here, we cannot find one shred of evidence to support UFOs.

People see what they want to see, regardless of the facts.

Aliens are not seen, hear or smelt, therefore probably not real. UFOs as defined are air born crafts, or more commonly known, Unidentified Flying Objects.

The sightings of these crafts have all been described differently. They are subjective. I have never seen on. I don't believe they are real because the photos are always un-clear or blurred. There is no scientific evidence tangible. Reports that have been called in from all over the United States and many other countries are all completely different.

It is impossible to find just one description. It might be one space craft that people are describing, just differently, or there could be hundreds of different kinds. Most of these are probably just a hoax, but some may be the genuine unknown flying object, not necessary an alien ship.

I conclude that science has not proved or disproved that "Alien Flying Space Object," exist.

Unidentified Flying Object.

If you can identify it, then it kills the whole purpose of the acronym UFO.

So, UFO do not exist because people can Identify the flying objects as planes, satellites, or spaceships, thus proving that UFO does not exist.

UFO would only exist if some cannot truly identify the flying object. Perception plays a role. Some may identify a flying object as a saucer. It may not indeed be a saucer, it may be a spaceship or a bird, but the person identified it as a saucer.
You cannot use UFO to describe anything that is flying if the person identifies it to be an object they can relate to.

That is why UFO cannot exist. We all identify flying objects according to our perception and familiarity.

UFO's are real...

UFO just means Unidentified Flying Object. Something in the air, and he person viewing it can't identifiy it...So, yes, people have seen things flying in the air, and they don't know what they are, andbiff, that makes it a U.F.O.

When the object can be identified, then it's, by definition, Not a U.F.O.

Now, claiming that these are alien craft, that is a load of horse-puckey (as Col Potter from MASH would say).

That people have seen something, that is true, that they don't know what it was, that is true, anything beyond that is just making up stories...

No can do. There is such a thing as a "UFO". However, when one hears the term "UFO" there is often an assumption that the item being referred to is a "flying saucer" and has an extraterrestial, alien origin. There is NO proof of that. There are plenty of UFOs, but that only means that they are unidentified flying objects - not they are being piloted by little green men and women from outer space. There is no credible evidence for that... yet.

You can't prove that something isn't real...it is impossible. But, UFO's are real (Unidentified Flying Objects) there are many everywhere...now as far as spaceships and little green men....well I haven't seen any but I think it would be quite foolish of us to believe we are the only sentient beings in the vast cosmos...others may not be here and may never be here...but somewhere there is other life.
As far as debate purposes use statistics and slander against abductees to try to prove your point.

At present, the concrete, scientific evidence about UFO's is too spotty and incomplete to prove either their existence or non-existence. It's like the evidence for/against Big Foot. Or the evidence for/against God. All of these fall into the realm of beliefs, and until substantive evidence turns up, that's where they will stay.

Unidentified Flying Object
what do those words say to you???
They tell me that they could be;
Weather balloons
Kites
Stars
Planets (like Venus which many people confuse with space craft??)
Meteorites
Space junk re entering the atmosphere
Ball lightning
Cloud formations
Projector lights
Northern lights (on a smaller scale)
Lights reflected onto cloud layers
Planes seen from unusual angles
Faked pictures and movies (which all contribute to the myth)
Satellites (of which Ive seen many) but they were so far away they could have been alien craft???........see what I mean about unidentified?

All UFO means is Unidentified Flying Object. A plane can be an UFO, if you don't know what it is, it's a UFO. A bird can be a UFO, if you don't know what it is. A frisbe is a UFO if you don't know what it is. If you are tring to ask -- "Are spaceships real" or "Are aliens real", these are harder to prove answers.
