Due to the way a coryss fin spines are made, there is no way to remove the cory without using tools small enough to reach into the oscars mouth and cut the corys fin spines. At that point you can remove the cory and be careful to remove the fin spines as well. Odds are good that the oscar will not be able to swallow the cory nor spit it out, so I would suggest you contact a vet asap unless you have the proper tools to remove the cory.
I guess you know now they aren't buddies, huh?

That would take a bit of a delicate touch. The cory has spines in the top and side fins, which have probably stuck in the Oscars throat. If you attempt to pull straight back, these will act like a grappling hook and wedge in even more (and maybe tear the throat).
If you have any clove oil on hand, a few dropd of this can be used to anesthetize the fish to calm them, then using forceps, push the cory a little further IN to dislodge the spines. Try and hold them close to the cory's body to try and pull him out.
If you don't have clove oil, you can try the same, but without the fish aenesthestized and aware of what's going on, this may be a two person job.
I'd find a new home for the corys if they're big enough to fit in the oscars mouth now.

This happened to my oscar not too long ago with a larger feeder than he could eat. I was in a panic over it but he did end up getting it down on his own within a few hours and was wanting more food the same evening.
Your oscar knows instinctlivly what to do so if it were me, I would just let him try to work it down on his own rather than risk injury by trying to get it yourself. Hope everything works out ok.

If the Corry is that far in, you can't pull it out, as most others have said, because it has spines on its dorsal fins, which would stick the Oscar if you tried to go against the direction of the spines. Either let the Oscar be (he is not going to suffocate because its gills are not connected with its mouth), or if you can, push the Corry into its mouth (gently, and if possible, still in the tank). You are going to lose the Corry either way... Good luck!

i'm assuming you have between the three complication-loose freshwater puffers, the parent 8, Indian Dwarf or the Fahaka. i'll be addressing your answer in keeping with that. first of all if its a parent 8 is a brackish fish with seventy 5-eighty two° F, KH 8-15, pH 7.0-8.0 standards. it could grow to be under pressure if housed in a tank set up for an Oscar. The Indian dwarf demands seventy two-eighty two° F, KH 5-15, pH 7.0-8.0 As for the Fahaka I have not any in intensity understanding of it. yet often, puffers are aggressive and territorial. There sharp beaks lead them to risky with different fish, I say this by way of fact there have been situations the place puffers have been housed in super community tanks. I say super by way of far greater than 60+ gallons in properly planted settings. i individually does not propose it. notwithstanding you are able to attempt, notwithstanding it demands close remark on how they are interacting. A small nip by a puffer in an Oscar could properly be devastating and vise versa the Oscars mouth could properly be super sufficient to consume the puffer. i could propose seperate tanks.

No, just let the oscar eat it or spit it out eventually. No harm will come to the oscar. Just give it time.
