There are a couple of things that we have to keep in mind. One is to remember the difference between friends and acquaintances, and not expect the same degree of support from both. The other is that friendship goes both ways. Sometimes you're going to be giving more, and other times you'll be more on the receiving end. We all have times when we're simply unable to give as much and need more support of our own, and a real friend is going to understand and accept that. And there will also be those times when we're on the other end of it, helping our friend through their own time of need, when they may be unable to reciprocate emotionally. Being there for each other during those times is what helps to build a strong and enduring friendship that can be counted on and makes the good times that much better.
And friend, acquaintance or stranger, we can all usually spare a smile or a kind word. You never know when that might be what helps someone through a tough day.

Ha ha very funny........ I never feel my friends are a waste of my time and that includes you to as well my friend! Hmmm! wonder who the LL stands for huh? you are so talking about me again!

Not my friends. Friends should never be a waste of time. If they are, then they aren't really friends.

Yes, sometimes. But then other times they are amazing and wonderful. I guess our friends might say the same things about us sometimes.
