My son was acting up really bad at a grocery store I scolded him, as did my mother.....this was 2 days ago. A lady walked by just glaring at us and talking really loud about us to her boyfriend. My mom told her to get a life and she turned around and yelled "BE A GOOD MOTHER"
Really the only women who judge are those who do not have kids of their own. which I believe she had no kids. Or they judge if they see a child acting up and the parent does nothing. I wish they would just mind their own buisness....it wasn't like we were beating him....just scolding!

Someone in my family just flat out told me I dont have a clue what I am doing in regards to feeding my son and taking care of him. Clearly I know what I am doing bc the doctors said he is fine, he is gaining weight properly and he is a very happy baby. I almost slapped them!!!

my mother has made 'helpful comments' like .... 'someone could report you for that'.... or 'I see signs that your now seven your old will rebel as a teenager'.... or 'Your daughter used the 'f' word and now I know someone who won't let their kids play with your daughter... but I won't tell you who it is'... or 'I know someone who agrees with me that you will regret the way you raise your children, but I won't tell you who, that would make you angry at them...' I find these controlling comments controlling, offensive, and totally off base as my children are very well adjusted, well mannered and happy. But I think these are the rudest things anyone has ever said about my parenting....

My mom is always trying to tell me when I should be diciplining my kids.
Just after my son was born, who looks like a miniture of my hubby, someone came up and said "Oh, he looks just like you,..." which I got really excited cause I couldn't see how. Then she said, "just kidding!" True story.

While nursing my son at a family party. I had one women come and tell me I was a child pedophile and my son would grow up physiologically damaged. That little boys should not be near breasts. I wanted to rip my breast out of my sons mouth and squirt breast milk all over her.And then tell her that I hope she was physiologically damaged for the rest of her life.....But we can always do what we picture in our heads.

That I'm emotionally abusive because I refuse to have rude...disrespectful children....asshole with no children. I'm not a perfect Mom, but I have happy & respectful kids who love me...I'm ok with that:)

My daughter told me that every bad thing that has happened in her life is a result of how I raised her. Can't beat that for a slapdown.

I had to take my daughter to the ER awhile back and they needed a urine sample from her. I told them that would be hard b/c she wasn't potty trained (she's 3 yrs. old). Then the nurse said "You really need to potty train that girl." I thought she was joking, but she was serious! Believe me I've tried, but you can't force a child to do something if their not ready. I was dumbstruck!
