Can you train a cucumber to grow vertical?

I want my cucumbers to grow up on ie. chicken wire?

You can gently tie the growth going up, but I've had great success with hanging cuke plants. The veggies ended up beautiful, straight and no dirty or nibbled parts.

It takes skill and patients They don't respond well to harsh words. Positive reinforcement is the only way. Use the reward method. As they respond to your direction, reward them with a handfull of 666.

Sure that will work,..... you will need to help it out by supporting the vine and using twist ties to secure it.
