Connect to your router with a cable and reset the key at the router. That's the easiest quickest and only way. If you already have a wired connection just use it to address the router and you can just reset the key.

firstly are you still connected to your router? if so open the internet explorer(it doesn't matter if the internet does not work at this point).... in the address bar type 192.168.1.1 then hit enter. on most routers this should bring up a login screen that enables you to access your router. the default uder and password is admin for both unless you have changed this during the initial set up. don't worry unless someone else is connected to your router then noone can login into your router although i would recommned resetting this to something known only to you. anyway... when you log in there should be a menu/tab on the screen that it gives you about security. browse around this until you find a section that either says your key or has an option to change the key.... if none of thease are there the menu should have a section that encrypts passphrases in 64 or 128bit etc... set that up how you did for the lost passkey and type the phrase you used to generate the passkey.. bingo youve got the key it will be the same. this works on a large majority of routers that ive had to work with

you need to connect to your router (if you can't using wireless then you will need to use a LAN cable to connect to it) - once in there you will either be able to see what you key is or be able to change it to something else. Now go back to your original setup and enter the correct key
