Well my dr suggested vitamin B6 50 mg morning noon and night. I added some preggy pops with it and it seems to be working for me. It didnt make it go away completely but it has made it bearable.

Unfortunately thats an uncontrolable side effect of being pregnant. If your doc has given you the morningsickness pill and it didnt work, and the ginger tea didnt work. THan theres not much you can do abotu it. You do need to eat attetit or not. That little baby in there needs some nutrition, besides the prenatal vitamin. Try eating plain toast, crackers didnt work for me. If it makes you feel any better theres an old wives tale that if you are sick, your havign a girl. That was true for me. WIth my son, nto a bit of mornign sickness, withmy daughter sicker than a dog every other morning. Dont worry though, the morning sickness shouldnt last. Just a few more months of it...hopefully!!!! Good Luck, and get somethign in your tummy even if it comes right back up, make an attempt.

Got this info from: http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/health_advice/facts/pregnantnausea.htm
How can I avoid nausea?
In the morning:
Take your time getting out of bed.
If you tend to feel really sick in the morning, eat a little as soon as you wake up and before getting out of bed.
Ask your partner to bring the food to you, or prepare a snack the night before and leave it beside your bed.
Throughout the day:
Eat little and often, every two or three hours - even if you're not hungry.
Drink a lot of liquid, preferably 10 to 12 glasses of water, fruit juice or herbal tea each day.
Avoid food containing a lot of fat or spices.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine.
Eat dry crackers, toasted bread or rusks.
Ginger tea or ginger tablets can help reduce nausea.
Rest several times a day. Lie down with a pillow under your head and legs.
Move slowly and avoid sudden movements.
After eating, sit down so that gravity helps to keep the food in your stomach.
Avoid smells that make you feel sick or throw up.
Don't brush your teeth immediately after eating because this can cause vomiting.
Get some fresh air and exercise by going for a little walk every day.
Avoid smoking. Not only is it harmful for you and your child, it also diminishes your appetite.
At night:
Before going to bed, it may help to eat a snack such as a yoghurt, bread, milk, cereal or a sandwich.
If you wake up during the night, eating a small snack may stop you feeling sick in the morning.
Sleep with the windows open to get some fresh air, if possible.
This is another website. http://www.healthscout.com/ency/68/230/main.html
I know that you've tried some of these things but I hope some of the other advice helps.

Here is a suggestion,do things that lift your spirit, soothe you and make you happy then when you are in a better mood maybe you will feel like eating something. I have had 3 kids and with 2 of them I had some of the same problems. Another thing that I did was ate things I normally wouldnt eat until I became pregnant. It is very hot outside too now so you may want to take that into consideration. If you can stay cool and listen to some music that puts you in a good mood maybe you will feel a little better and your appetite will improve, maybe trying a scoop of ice cream with some chocolate syrup will get your tummy rumbling! Good luck and I hope that you are feeling better soon!

Hi,
I know how you feel, I was like that with my first pregnancy, not sick so much but felt like I would be all the time night and day - especially travell sick on the bus home from work - and smells -oh I couldn't go near my hubby if he ate garlic.
It will go away..... nothing really helped that much for me - I tried the ginger, eating as soon as you wake in the morning etc........... it went away at about 20 weeks.
But good news - I am 25 weeks pregnant (2nd pregnancy) and have had no sickness and fell great all the time!!!! So next time you mightn't even get sick!!!!
God bless,
Sophia

You'll feel normal again within about 5 weeks. I was like you, I never threw up, but I just could not eat all day and felt queasy. The one thing I could eat was a plain broth from a Chinese restaurant down the street from where I worked. Towards about 10 weeks I would still not be able to eat all day, but then my queasiness would pass and around 9:30 at night I'd feel hungry, so I'd go ahead and eat then even though it was so late. That's what I advise you to do, just eat when you can. There isn't much that will help you until you reach your second trimester, then you'll feel much better.

U will get extremely tired in ur third trimester though. Just get all the rest u can. Congrats on the baby! God Bless!

Hate to bring it up but they gave me supository's (spelling is completely butchered). I had to insert them....you know where and it did help. The pills weren't a success after a certain point and I ended up spending lots of co pays on them. Animal crackers and watermelon oh and pop cicles are all i've eaten this pregancy. Hang in there, it will stop I promise. I was sick for 20+ weeks with the twins.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and I have been sick with "morning sickness" since 5.5 weeks. I was in the hospital twice because of it. I have thrown up everyday since 5.5 weeks. I have had 3 different nausea meds and the only one that worked, sorta, was Zofran. None of the home remedies helped me. Basically, ask your doc for Zofran and if that doesn't help, be prepared for a long pregnancy. Good luck and stay hydrated!
