I loved the whole first season! Seth Summer Marissa Ryan Sandy Kirsten Julie Jimmy Johnny Oliver ETC Great Show I heard it got cancelled due to the death of Marissa Cooper or poor ratings? I love Benjamin McKenzie and Mischa Barton and Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson and Peter Gallager Kelly Rowan Oh and I can't forget Caitlin Cooper.

yes, it got cancelled because of poor ratings. after marissa died (and mischa barton left the show), ratings dropped so fox cancelled it. too bad, hu? oh well, it had a good run and i neved really liked ryan and taylor together.. he looks better with marissa! summer and seth 4ever!

The first 3 seasons are the best. Then it went down hill and it practiclly died after Marissa died, even if there was another season.

ya, the fourth season was the last. cuz ya marissa died, they got in a car accident. i mean, ryan did end up dating taylor, but it just wasn't as good! and it didn't really seem like the show was going anywhere,so ya it got cancelled, sad i know, but it had a good run!

there was one season after merissa died but it wasnt that good and it kinda failed
