I've tried peroxide AND I've tried the new Shout--it's supposed to be more advanced than the original. They are both just okay. I'm hoping to find tips that will not ruin the material and/or will not fade the colors.

You could try ariel detergent and soak the clothing item in hot water overnight. Wash it out in the morning. Remember to stir/mix the detergent properly in the water. Let me know if this works.

Ok, here are all the bloodstain remidies I've tried:

*Cold water: It works pretty well ifd you run it over a fresh stain. If you have nothing else around, it will atleast help. Never use warm water, it will just set the stain and that is definately NOT what you want, LOL.
*Cold water & soap: The soap will help you get the stain out.
*Cold water & baking soda: Again, this is a great trick when you're out of stain remover. Run the stain under cold water, then put some baking soda/water paste on it and let it sit for a while. presto! Stain gone!
*Oxyclean: Oxyclean stain remover is surely my top pic. it will make it disappear very quickly, even a set stain. If for some reason it doesn't completely disappear, put a little more Oxyclean on it and throw it in the washer. Oxyclean is stuff I swear by for blood stains, or really any stains at all!
*Bleach: Finally, if worst comes to worst, try a little bleach.

Hope this helps!

Shout, meh. Lightens bloodstains, but doesn't eliminate them.

Zout works much, much better. Spray or squirt it on and let it stand while you load the washer. Consider supplementing its power with a little scrubbing (keep a retired toothbrush near the washer for spots and stains), then wash in cold water. (Hot and even warm can set protein-based stains like blood.)

Remember, too, that a fast cold-water wash in the sink, even if you just use bar soap and rub the cloth against itself, as soon as you realize there's blood on the cloth can keep the stain from setting. The longer it sits around waiting for you to get to it, the more likely it is to be permanent.

And during that time of the month, black panties are your friend.

I always use Shout gel, not the new kind, it's been around a while. It comes in a small plastic bottle with a scrubber top, and it works on ANYTHING. Don't use the scrubber top on your delicates, just squeeze some on there and rub gently, then rinse in cold water and repeat till stain is gone. Launder as usual.

I use Spray and Wash's product with the pink liquid and clear liquid in two containers, but come out as one. I don't remember what it's called, but it works wonders. Just squirt some on, let it sit for like 30 secs, work it under cold water and rinse. Voila!

with ease, a bar of soap... you might think " yeh right " but it really has got out some tough stains... even ring around the colar. I would put the stained area in water as soon as possable let it soak a bit then rub a bar of soap on it and then rub the material together and rince ;-)

For fresh blood stains soak the article in cold water, covering the blood stain with household salt, this should remove most stains and works best when fresh.

well its probably too late to use this now, but while the stain is still wet, if you pour carbonated water on it, it comes right out. at least it works for me. you can try sprite or 7 up or ginger ale or something too. basically the same thing.
