Personally, I'd vote AGAINST involving you parents in sex. I mean, I was kinda kinky once myself, but that's just GROSS!

My approach with my kids has been that I have been through every experience they are going through now, and have learned some things the hard way. I tell them I want them to come to me and their mom with their questions, no matter what they are. My concern, I tell them, is that if they don't they might wind up making a mistake that will adversely impact their whole life. Teen years are a transition from child to adult, where "adult level" mistakes can be made, and "real" consequences can start to happen. I can only do my job to protect them if they talk to me. So trust your parents-- they want the best for you. They might pull the reins in a little, but it is because they love you and they have a better understanding of the evil that is lurking out there.

Are you trying to tell your parents that you have begun dating? If so, then just sit your parents down one evening after dinner & tell them. Make sure to keep your tone even & not to get over emotional. If they say that you are too young or not ready to date, ask them if they would meet this person. Sometimes all that the parents are really worried about is that you are being taken advantage of. At a really young age (especially if you are a young woman) many people are taken advantage of because of their naivety. Make sure to tell your parents all the positive things about your date. Don't tell them all of the bad stuff immediately. They do understand that everyone has done some stupid stuff, but if they hear it up front they may not want you to date this person.
If you are looking for advice from your parents about sex & dating, then again--just talk to them about it. Let them know that you want to know about this stuff so you don't make mistakes later on. If they try to tell you only "you're too young & don't date", then try asking another adult that you trust.

Ask for your parents' opinion. How old do they think you should be to date members of the opposite sex?
An uncle of mine told his daughter she was not to date until age 16. But . . . before she turned 16, he would permit the boy she was interested in to come to Sunday dinner at their home.
Ask what your parents think about the subject.
