We casually went to dinner with a few friends and the restaurant was super fancy (they knew... we didn't) We spent 125.00 on two entrees and two drinks (a beer and 1 martini)

The bad part of the resturant experience happened after the fact. I had a very nice turkey club sandwich at the motel restaurant during a cross country trip with my mother. A few hours later in the motel room I became sick at both ends - all night. By mid morning I was basically OK.

I ordered some take out from Red Lobster it was a pasta dish with crab. When I got home and opened the box with my pasta instead of crab is giant pink lumps of mystery meat. It was DISGUSTING AND I WAS DISGUSTED. So I had throw away my food! Just another reason why I hate Red Lobster. The ONLY good thing they have is their biscuits but then again I can make those at home. If I want some REAL and GOOD seafood I will go to the beach!

WHAT YOU HAD TO WAIT 45 MINUTES???? THAT IS RIDICULOUS!! I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN UP AND LEFT!!

Working at restaurants has got to be the worst. Worked my way through college at Eddie's Pancake House and Freak-show (employee's name for it). A 24 hour breakfast house, too many weird experiences to list them all. A bj in a back booth, fights, stabbings, got surreal at times.

about a month ago we went to an Olive Garden restaurant...the service was horrendous...they brought out our main course before our appetizers plus had our order mixed up with someone else's order...it was so bad the owner of the restaurant came over and served us the rest of the night, not only they did not charge us for the night, he even gave us a $50 gift certificate in hoping we would come back again....that's how bad it was...

and a top of the morning to you!:):):)

It happened at a Subway (is that a restaurant?): I couldn't decide what to friggen' get ('cause there are too many choices, you know) and my fricken' family was bugging me so, I finally just exploded and screamed at my family and basically just made a scene. And ended up getting nothing.

I was at a Perkins one night with a couple friends. The waitress was taking an order at the table next to us and she was being incredibly rude.

We thought maybe she knew them or something, then she came to our table and started with, "don't order a shake, cause I'm not making it!"
What do you want to drink? Hurry up! I ain't got all night!"
She wasn't being funny either. So right after she walked into the kitchen, we all got up and so did the table next to us, and we left.

It was really sad...

I have not had any real bad experiences, except getting wrong orders. And once I overturned my glass of water and it got everyone on the opposite side of the table wet.

my family & I travel a lot and one time we were all hungry and were trying to find any place to get food, finally we found a chinese resturant. we all got out of our motorhome, walked inside and the first thing we noticed was the smell.... it just smelled like dirt - icky! then, there was stuff all over the floor... food, trash... etc.. we were like "ick, this is the only place and we're so hungry... should we wait or eat here?" we waited for someone to come over to us and seat us, as there were a bunch of chinese people sitting over in the corner.. no one came so we started leaving. we were all out in the parking lot, getting back into the vehicle when 2 chinese ladies came running out into the parking lot saying stuff we couldn't understand and motioning us to go back inside & eat there.
haha.
needless to say, we just smiled and waved and found somewhere else to eat a while down the road! ;)
