Marshall Ward Catalogue - my boyfriend bought a pair of shoes from them. The shoes fell apart after TWO days. Company would not take them back/exchange/refund because the shoes had been WORN. That's right folks, wear a pair of brand new shoes and you void the refund policy despite the shoddy workmanship.
Also, will not give any further business to Littlewoods Home Shopping. Ordered a king size bed on a buy now pay later and received a double bed. Then because they had to reorder the King size the idiot on the phone changed the payment plan so instead of paying approx £40 a month for 12 months I was landed with 4 monthly instalments of over £130.
02 provided me with the worst mobile phone service I have ever encountered, was on pay and go but got hassled every three days with offers of "great contract offers".
Barclays Bank for charging me £30 for being over drawn by £5, then 2 days later charging me another £30 for a paying a direct debit of £3 thus making me £68 in the red when I was only £8 overdrawn. I'd been banking with them for 15 years and had never had a single problem before that. What fu@ked me off even more was that I got paid the day the direct debit went through so the money was in my account!

AutoPartsGiant.com, I purchased a mass airflow sensor with the agreement to be charged a core charge that would be refunded to me upon me returning to them my old part. I did they received it Mar 22nd, 07. I made numerous attempts by phone and email and finally BBB. They claimed That they refunded my money and to take it up with my bank. I finally get a call in June (this is after they told the BBB that I was already paid) and they told me it has now been taken care of as of June 16th (3 Mos later. All the junk I had to go through to collect $28.80 . Never again and after visiting the BBB website - looks like they have a history of this.

There are 2. I HAVE to keep dealing with my phone co- Verizon, but they convinced me to buy a package that they said would be cheaper than what I used to pay, & the last 2 mos my bills have DOUBLED. I tried to call them. They put me on hold for an hour. I called back. The guy was very vague & wouldn't help me. After another hour he put me on hold a 2nd time. That put me back to where I started, with the machine asking me what my phone # was, so I would have had to start all over again! I then hung up & tried to fix things on the computer, but the link wouldn't open. I finally wrote them an email, (& I wasn't rude to them even then), but they haven't responded.
The 2nd co is a store called "Kids By Gosh" in Wa. The owner contacted me through Ebay & asked me to paint some baby clothes & mail them to her. I put a lot of time & money into them. I sent them, but never heard from her again. I tried emailing her & calling & leaving my #, but she never replied. ( I live in another state, so I can't go there in person).
Ok, thanks for letting me vent. Cool idea.

Some loan sharks calling themselves Provident Credit Services. The agent I had was unreliable, whenever she could be bothered to call, she claimed no-one was home, even though hubby was! Also, I settled my loans and got a rebate of £12! One loan was halfway through it's term!
County Lquidations-car auction yard. Hubby bought a Vectra. Nothing but a heap of ****! Serves him right for going alone!!!

computer trends-they have back to school deals, that are all b.s. i wanted a specific computer, they said its all out of stock through out the city, they managed to give me similar deal. they are supposed to be new but they don't ever tell you. after i had bought the computer, set it up a month later, had a bunch of viruses in it and i had a one year warranty. i call them in regards to it and they tell that their products are refurbished and to bring in the computer. when i got there, there were a bunch of customers complaining, their problems were either solved nor was their money refunded. same happened to me, they tell me to pay $80 down to have it looked at and $129 for cleaning and filtering it. i asked why and I'm not the one who done it, no answers there no manager to deal with either. i got mad and took my hard drive and left. there were a bunch of women yelling and screaming, "they're scams and never trust them or buy something from them" and i was even madder cause they can see i had my own issues to deal with. i took my computer else where and paid $140 for virus removal and additional threat protection for the damn thing. but yeah i was sooo made.

FRIDGEMASTER!!!!!!! I bought two fridges from them, shortly after, fridge 1 broke down and was replaced, fridge 2 broke down and was repaired, fridge 1 replacement fridge 3 has also broken down. Fridge 2 recently started acting up and works occasionally, defrosting everything on a regular basis. Strangely, I have lost faith in their products and asked for a refund, this was met with blatant refusal, so now I'm stuck with two new broken fridges after having lost six hundred pounds!

J.C. Penney!! Those rip-offs can take a flying leap off of a rolling doughnut! I bought a diamond ring there once. It was "50% off". I paid $999.00 CASH for the ring. Later I happened to be in a jewelry store and had my diamond appraised. It was worth $499.00!! I went back to Penneys to demand my money back. They would NOT give me a refund, but told me I could "upgrade to a bigger ring".........which meant MORE MONEY FOR THE BLOOD SUCKERS. I would LOVE to see J.C. Penney go bankrupt and have to beg for food on the streets! If they were lucky, I would give them a present from my cat's littler box!
