Now you know a lot of people are going to answer you and say "Stairway To Heaven" (with all due respect I kind of wonder why you asked knowning what people are going to say). But if I were to get out of the mainstream conjecture, I would say "Kashmir" for its innovation, "Ten Years Gone" for its aesthetic nature and evidence of sensitivity and for songwriting structure, "Misty Mountain Hop", "Rain Song", Production? again, "Kashmir" (the flange on John Bonham's drums and how "big", if you will, they sounded.), "Houses Of The Holy", live? "Rock & Roll."

stairway to heaven. 1 of the best vocal performances of all time and 1 of the best guitar solos ever. (behind free bird @ #1 and comfortably numb @ #2). as usual, bonham and jpj just completely tear up the rhythm section. that or achilles last stand.

I don't know about "the" best, but the best known are. "Kashmir" & "Immigrant Song".........and "Stairway To Heaven" and STH gets way overplayed
