well, lets see. if i remember correctly ha.ha. there have been times in my past, when i was younger that i recall myself saying to someone that sorry just isnt good enough.however, as i got older and really looked more deeply into the things that happen to me in my life i came to the realization tht when you hurt someone unintentionally sorry may be all there is. the thing that i tried to instill deeply into my children and grandchildren is this. sorry is not just a word you say when you have done something wrong. sorry means that you feel badly because you have hurt someone somehow.and furthermore, the true knowing that you are sorry is that you will not repeat what you have done. we are all human we all make mistakes.are we really sorry or is sorry just a word misused by some to gets back into others good graces. i now believe sorry is enough when the apology is genuine. this is not to say that someone can carelessly break or destroy something for you and just say sorry without making it right by replacing the item etc. if the apology is genuine i will forgive the person.if the apology is genuine and they can do something else to right their wrong, they will.i think, sorry and i love you are the two most misused phrases as people think of it as something you just say.never say you are sorry unless you truly are.

Yes. Many times sorry isnt enough, but a "sorrry" could be very meaningful and heartfelt too if said very sincerely and with a lot of emotions. Once a had the oppurtunity to hear a sorry like that from my bf. He said sorry and I thought I could forgive him for any mistake, even cheating on me(Just kidding). I will never forget it.

Yes I do. But I tend to have a very forgiving nature, so sometimes, sorry is enough for me, even when it shouldn't be.

It really depends. Like someone said above if someone bumps me accidentally or something, yes.
But, I am trying to teach my six-year-old that you can't just do whatever you want and expect "I'm Sorry" to erase it. As a society, so many of us have gotten to the point that we think what we do affects no one. That is not always the case.
I want to be respectful of other people because I want people to be respectful of me. I am trying to teach my daughter that too.
The golden rule is very effective and very simple.

Sorry is a very powerful word when expressed with sincere emotion and regret. Depends on the situation and most definitely the source.

If it's something minor, more than likely. Sometimes, people do things that sorry can never fix.

sorry is rarely never enough..
the scars that are left after someone has 'screwed up' are never really ever gone..
sorry helps though, it's a good start!!!
