Go to the following link, http://www.crucial.com/uk they can do an on line check which will determine which ram your motherboard supports. They will recommend the optimum amount. You can order on line and although they are not the cheapest it is worth paying for good ram. They guarantee compatibility with your motherboard and give an excellent warranty.They lso give fitting instructions. I have used them many times and always been satisfied. Hope this helps.

I have to agree with "tigerkitty2", Sisoft's "Sandra" or the Belarc Advisor are by far the best bet for this purpose!

Yes,,,all you have to do is to click on Start then point to Accessories, scroll down to system tools then click on system information, there you will see all you need to know about whats in your computer,,good luck

you could use sandra, or belarc advisor, both of those will tell you everything you want to know, and then a little more about your computer.
or you could use the crucial memory configurator.
