There is a "Plant a Tree Day" in the US. It's called Arbor Day. And yes, I've planted trees on this day in the past.

I planted a tree for each of my children (on their birthday) and grandchildren (The day they were born). (I had just bought my house and had only 2 trees on it) I have lots of trees in my yard now. We have Arbor Day ~ but I plant them when I want to.

Of course..but why wait for Arbor Day??? I don't need a specific day to tell me to plant a tree. I do it anyway and anytime I want . Sort of like Valentines..is it really necessary to have a DAY tell us to show our love? Absurd..I do it everyday.
