I have a drug trafficking convictiion, and I would like to go to truck driving school, my husband and I would like to drive as a team, he has never been in any trouble, but we have just got married and would like to make money and work together, is there a school out there and is there employment after school, please help. My felony conviction is almost 9 years old.

I dont know where you live, but many states have a procedure to convert non violent felonies to misdemeanors. If you live in California, I know this can be done. If you do live in California, let me know here and I will send you the form. You can fill it out yourself, or have an attorney do it for you.

Sorry but you probably will not get through the background checks.
You may want to be an independent trucker.
Work for a non union place and hide your past.
It is a problem and very sorry cannot offer you an real encouragement.
