I'm in agreement with you, it just goes to show you that corporate America can't live with a guy like Ron Paul. He's honest, abides by the Constitution, and goes against the moneyed interests that have been guiding politics.
Too bad the mainstream press isn't as free as they would like people to believe. When an honest person who is everything America stands for, that would certainly be newsworthy, but all we get is a fill of Hillary, Obama, Ghouliani, McCain, and the other doublespeaking, hypocritcal, bought and paid for candidates.

He is running for President, so I assume your asking if he has a chance to win.
I think the chance to win is slim to none, because he's an idealist who votes on principles not on expediency. I have and will continue to support him for that reason. Even if he doesn't win, I believe supporting him helps promote crucial elements of our freedom, such as actually following the Constitution.
I for one am very happy to have the opportunity to support someone with integrity.
He does get some media coverage, so I suppose you're just exaggerating the claim.

Ron Paul's track record indicates that he is honest, dependable, hard working, and strongly defends the constitution. I think its rather nice to see one candidate that has good qualifications. All things even, I think a majority of people will agree with me. Getting name recognition and media coverage is Rep. Paul's biggest challenge. His character and his message certainly can beat his rivals.

No one thinks he has a tiny chance to run. But it is so important that his ideas be discussed in whatever forum is available. Any American who has watched the debates on TV has hear of Ron Paul. Any American who is paying a teeny bit of attention beyond watching the nightly so called network news has heard of Ron Paul.

I don't agree. I think a lot of Americans know of Ron Paul and like his views. He is a problem to the elitists and wants to tear down the elite structure in the USA. For that fact, he will not get the support of the rich and won't get elected.

I posted the following question about a month ago:
If you went to your local supermarket, held up a picture of Ron Paul, and asked the next 100 people "Who is this?"
How many people would get it right?
I'm putting the over/under at 2. "
I invite you to look at the responses.

He has absolutely no chance of winning. His views are in-line with the Libertarian Party and we know how well they do at the polls. The only reason he got elected in the first place was because he ran as a Republican. The left- and right-wing media in the United States will never cover a libertarian-leaning Republican.

That's because the media wants their candidate elected, it does not matter to them if its a Republican or Democrat, all that matters is that are a bought and paid for politician unlike Ron Paul.
More people than ever question the broken two party system. More people than ever see presidential elections as frauds perpetrated by a one party system offering two similar options: candidates of privilege and wealth, puppets of megacorps who occupy the government. The Republican and Democratic parties enable each other for they are beholden to the same cash cows that finance both their campaigns. Every favor deserves a return on investment. Such duplicity of the duopoly brought us the PATRIOT Act, NAFTA, the WTO, No Child Left Behind, and the War on Iraq, which according to Bush ended on May 2, 2003.

He Won't and we are better for it.
He will probably try to become the next "Perot" or "Nader"
but really, he doesn't have a shot and for good reason.
The reason? He is only getting support from the "Truther" movement. So anyone with half a brain already knows he is attracting the mentally unstable crowd, and stays away.
Ron Paul Is a sad man with sad followers and i will be laughing all the way till next November as his "Followers" go in to a frothing frenzy.

It has been reported Paul will have at least several million online supporters by early 2008 and will have many more supporters outside of the internet.
