I have never had a normal period...I can go 3 months at a time without one then have one for 3 weeks! I always have heav y periods that last about a week stairght and i use about 2 full bags of pads (thats how heavy)...could there be something wrong or is this normal? During my periods i also have LOTS of pain and i cant stand it. Like I said I have never really had what I would asume a "normal" period! help!!!
(I am 13 but im using my sisters account.)

Ya, you assumed right, a period that heavy is not normal. I would talk to your mom and have her call your pediatrician or family doctor for a referal to an adolescent gynecologist. Children's hospitals have entire pediatric and adolescent gyneological staffs. The doctor will probably put you on a form of the pill to regulate your periods, reduce the pain, and the amount of blood. Good Luck!!!

You're only 13 so, it could be normal... But, you do need to go see a gynocologist just in case. In the mean time, Ibuprofin is the BEST thing for bad cramps... Get the little round brown ones. And you may want to try tampons with pads.

Go on the pill it helps with that, consult your gp, tell her/him your periods are heavy.. and there do that

Go to the doctor and ask to be evaluated for endometriosis.

If this is your first year then this is to be expected. If it is not you may need to see a gyn.
