Recently, AT & T announced that they will join with movie and record companies to create snooping software to spy on its dsl customers to keep content off of its network. Is this legal ?

it probably isn't but they will do it anyway. look what BUSH did on the wiretapping. when your a big *** company that donates tons of money for elections to go their way you can do anything you wish! a t & t is the very worst phone company in the world. i know because they took over bell south and cingular and we used to have them idiots in michigan as they took over michigan bell and sbc ameritech.

yes its for safety they don't want anything to happen to there buyers and if someone said "i will kill you' or something like that AT&T would no and take action to call the police or something
