It's not silly to me. When someone says my real name the correct way, it scares the Hell out of me. Because it brings back flash backs of me getting in trouble with my Mum as well.I have a way my friends say it and aquaintances say it another way. I like the slang way. It just feels better. No your question really hits home with me.
