It's far better to add fish slowing if the tank has not been cycled. If they are a type of fish that need to be added all at once, like African cichlids, then cycle the tank before you get your fish.

If you add them all at once to an uncycled tank, you will have serious problems with ammonia and nitrites for several weeks. Which could easily cost you your fish.

If you aren't familiar with cycling, here's two links that will explain the process with fish and one link that explains a way to do it without fish.

No, there's nothing wrong with that, depending on the fish, and how big the fish will get all varies on the tank, fish that don't require much maintenance can be kept in a small tank, but since you have a big tank you will be OK.

You don't want to add anything for about 3 weeks because there is no bacteria in the tank yet you can buy it (stress zyme) its a live bacteria and add it then it is safe to add fish after about 3 days
