I think Bali is pretty amazing, lush padi fields, beautiful beaches friendly people and I have a soft spot for Ko phi phi in Thailand.
My all time favourite island has to be a small Island of the coast of labuanbajo, Flores, Indonesia. The Island is called Seraya and all it has on it is one restaurant and some beach huts, it is that small you can walk around it in about an hour, we only stumbled upon it as we wanted to go to Komodo and rinca. Of an afternoon you get asked would you like to have fish for dinner and if you say yes they get in their boat and go and fish for it. It was very basic, no hot water and all power by generator but it felt like Paradise.
