Tough solution...No concrete answer....

Firstly..Change your password and report it to you ISP provider..Yahoo ect....

You have a security weakness and the "hole" should be closed..

Contact one of the forums for assistance there....

An email has to make at least three hops when it is sent. In the headers you will see all the IP addresses. You may have to enable this in the options.

You can probably use the IP addresses for comparing the ISP with the person you think might be involved ISP. I can probably help you out more. I have some other idea's but I don't want to explain them here cause I perfer to do it in private.

Pointless question.

IP addresses are given out by the persons ISP, and are protected by law unless you have a court order. The best you might be able to do is to trace the address back to an ISP. You can not het anywhere close to tell who sent the e-mail using the IP.

Plus with many ISPs, you get a different IP address everytime you log in. So someone else somewhere else in the world is using the IP today.

So...pointless question.

im not sure about how to get the ip, but you could chek the folder in the computer that takes the snap shots of everything that is pulled up, if someone looked at your wife email on there computer there would be a snap shot of that.

check in your console tree, it will have the ip address or if you have access to there computer an easy way is to bring up the disk clean up option, view file for temp internet folder and click on the date of the viewed file it will show you the actual email.

There is no way to do what you are looking for, only the ISP can do it. If you have problems, you need to report it to Yahoo, and change/cancel the password/account.
