The person the makes you the happiest
can be the same person to make you the most miserable
the Love that can can cause you pleasure...
can be the same love thet can cause you pain.
the feeling that can paint your Life with Red all over..
can make your whole world Blue when it's all over..
the reason you love is not to be happy or be pleased..
it's more of giving that receiving, it's learning, sharing...
it's a risk you take no matter what...
because your life without Love is unworthy of living...
Love is bitter-sweet.. but the after-taste will always be the sweetest.
:-)

What is love and what is pain? If love is directed to a particular object or specified apriori objects, it can not be termed love. Such a LOVE, I mean the object-specific love it does not remove pain. In fact, it is this sort of love that pain is. The sequence is attachment to objects, desire to 'enjoy' them whatever the term enjoyment may mean by possessing it, then monopolizing it, getting enraged if prevented/obstructed, losing clarity of thought and ultimately destroying one self.
On the other hand, a LOVE that does not discriminate, but born out of the realization of the common factor or the connector that exists between the lover and the loved can never be obstructed, does not affect clarity of thinking/intelligence, remains unperturbed and hence IS painless.
Any love that removes pain also creates pain . Do never seek such love it is temporary and its effect lasts and pains for ever

2/3 of the time when you're in love you suffer. So, no, it doesn't remove pain... But it doesn't generate it either. There's the 1/3 of the time when you're in love when you get to really explore the beauty of life near the chosen one.
Love is a complex feeling and it has hundreds of thousand of moods and expressions.
The only form of love which is pure happiness is art, in my opinion. Or culture. Try loving art... the finest way of loving something.

Love removes pain, removes boredom, removes hair, removes money, removes time and time again, removes trust and then restores it, removes your favorite chair, removes your dignity, removes the stains in your shirts, removes every trace of your former life, removes your freedom, removes your individuality, but as long as it doesn't remove hope then its all worth it.

imagine how painful it will be without experiencing love. personally, i think it's more painful than experiencing love. it's also better going through life having known you've experienced love. real love has to be reciprocated though

So, to conclude your question, it goes: "Does love remove love, because love is pain?" You tell me, I haven't felt either.

If love is not reciprocated, then it is pain, hurts in an exquisitely painful way.
