Not particularly bothered, it's their choice, but I suppose it's really individual taste to both man and woman.
Black or red (actually a bikini), on a Japanese model, Fumika Suzuki, I walked in to a door looking at the poster.
Some what embarrassing....

it all depends on her skin colour really
black or white have the most class
light pink is quite sexy
red or crimson do nothing for me - too wanton

As long as it comes off easily color does NOT matter.
But if I were to buy it for her - I'd go with red or black.
Invisible would be nice too...
