How do you genuinely love someone? And no, its not necessary to repeat anything, but what is the problem if you do? All these words we use are repeated to use, and we repeat them again.
Not to mention, love doesn't suffer at all. I don't see what all these people are talking about, "love." And you say it too, as if there were something there. So, how can love suffer at all, its not even there to experience, if I may put it that way. Again, not to mention, what would repeating "I love you" do to this love? Every time I hear it, it is in a totally different mood, at a totally different tone, and a totally different thought.

No, it's not perennial insecurity. It's a recognition that (a) it feels great to hear, and (b) things can change. What's so bad about saying it if it's true? And why do you go on saying it if it's not true?
I never have understood why men, specifically, think it's so hard to say "I love you." It's only hard if it's a lie, and you don't want to go on repeating a lie. In that case, get it over with. Say something like, "You know, I'm not sure I understand what that word means," and start the discussion. You will get across the point that you are not sure it applies to what you feel for the person involved.

Love is a continuous process. Love is in the form of invisible waves that links the two individual. Saying ,"I Love You" just accelerate these wave which penetrate ones heart, mind and soul. the Impression of these three word helps in gen ration of LOVE WAVE . Though it is not necessary to repeat but is to feel. One has many ways to offer love ,verbal reassurance is one of them

Well, to love smone truly. is more than enough I must say!
And the one who is being loved is the lucky one!
It is nt necessary to say it again and again...just when u feel a bit romntic , a bit in the mood, say it...on any occasion as b.dys, anniversay, and all that!
bt yes if u say it at least once in three to four days, u'll have a strong relationship I guess!

I think it is hard for most men to say 'I love you'. when we spend most of their life raising them to' BE A MAN! DON'T SHOW WEAKNESSES, DON'T FEEL, DON' CRY1 And then we turn around and expect them to melt all over the place! In OUR society we want our WARRIORS to be the strong silent type. and Prince Charming at the same time!
We want so many things from them, I'm amazed they hang around for us to tell them, that they don't listen to us!. or pay enough attention to us, it isn't easy to be a man, I know I wouldn't want the job!
I love you, guys, and appreciate you for all the things you do!

I tell my husband every day that I love him...several times a day sometimes. I would hate to think that we talked on our cellphones and, God forbid, one of us were killed and I didn't get to tell him one last time that I love him.
Besides, I love him every minute of every day, so why not remind of him of it? Why not remind him how wonderful he is and how special to me? It's expression of my feelings, not insecurity.
