I have a female officemate who is single, tall and pretty. We have a guy officemate who is very much married to another officemate of ours. When the wife of this guy goes out of town as part of her job, we would see this single girl ride out with the guy after office hours. We don't really know where they would go but is it proper for the single girl to be with this guy? They usually leave the office together. Do we have to tell the wife to be watchful although we have no proof that something is going on between the two?

If it were you ,would you want to know. Tell her the facts and let her get the details. Maybe then, she can set up a false trip out of town and really see what happens.

Well lets see,, the girl only jumps in the car when the wife is out of town,, something isn't right with that picture. you can bet your bottom dollar something is going on between the two and it isn't office related. This job sounds more like a recipe for disaster (in the wife's case ) very tricky situation. You don't want to be in the middle, but at the same time you know something isn't right and you feel you need to say or do something. I think i agree with the other answerer, i would send an email or a typed letter informing her she needs to keep her eyes open, it is a shame when you can't even trust your spouse at the work place. Make sure when you inform her that she dosen't know who it is from.

This is soooo wrong. At the very least they are having an emotional affair that will probably lead to more. If I were the wife, I would definitely want to know. Don't get yourself caught in the middle though. Best to send an anonymous e-mail to the wife. I think you'd be doing her a huge favor. The hubby sounds like scum and all this is taking place where the wife works, in front of other co-workers. What an embarrassing situation for the wife.

Hie Lady Well to me it is not right for a single lady to go out with a married man and when ever the wife is out of town, because between them there could be an affair with them and from there it could lead to a reliationship and wife will have a lot of doubts towards the husband, when a wife has a doubt in their reliationship and it can also lead them to a very bad way of life, like it can be leading towards to a divorce and this also can also be hard on a wife when she founds out, but for to be safe then it is better for you to go and tell her so that she can be more safe, maybe at first she would not believe but then it is better for to see herself and see it. Try this and hope it might help you....................

Hmmmm. Not yet. No one knows what kind of activity they have together. I don't suppose you'd want to create something chaotic when you don't have proof. And even if you do, I suggest that you let the HR department do it. Or... if you're feeling "evil", you can casually ask the wife if Single Girl is a close friend of theirs and if they hang out together. Just kidding!!!!!!!!!

What i would like to tell you is that first of all try to see if when the wife is at the office, does the other girl come and talk to the man. If not then you kinda talk about her to ur colleague, n try to know whether she knows what is happening.
If she doesn't know plz dont interfere coz its their life and not urs. just make sure that the other girl knows that u guys know what she is doing.

If you see some actual proof that there are indiscretions going on then yes, tell the wife what's going on. If not, then you are bound ethically to remain silent.
In other words, unless you know the guy is cheating you have to mind your own business.

Here's what I'd do first. Each of you office mates who pay attention to this single girl all the time who care about this situation need to one by one find something for this girl to do whenever she approaches the married office mate.
At my work there is a girl in one department who keeps making goo goo eyes at a married department manager in another department she wants to work in, always calling to see if he's there, walking by to see him. It's sickening. It would stop if people kept finding something for her to do if she is so bored. :)
