If you are a starter, then you should start with learning how to play the piano. Almost every instument has 'C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C' or 'do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do', in other words, a scale. So in my opinion, learning how to play the piano is easiest to learn the scale, rather than a recorder or guitar. Also, if you can play the piano, your fingers will become good at moving fast and your fingers will become dextrous.
Hope I helped :D Good luck on music!

The guitar. Seriously...... hands down. You'll be so glad you did. It's amazing how it makes you feel when all of sudden you understand the concept of the chords and you are composing things yourself. You'll love it.
