And because of lack of time, I could only seldom think of .. and think about fear.

On the contrary, I'm a great coward. I do not understand "no fear" as a concept. It would seem to be the same as foolhardy, to me.

Nope, but that is one of my favorite parts of "Blackhawk Down" where the helicopter crewmember tells the Ranger getting ready to speed rope down into Somalia " No fear!" and the Ranger answers "yeah, right!" as he goes into the hornet's nest....
We used to say stuff like that before we went on drug raids and the like, but I for one was always a little nervous because I'm allergic to lead projectiles fired at me at speeds of 900 + feet per second.
