I suppose that most answers to this question will depend upon whether the person answering likes PTI or not.

But opinions on this are sure to be divided following his performance in the booth last season. Personally, I thought he was funny at times, but stuff such as his constant talking about his fantasy team bordered on the irritating at times.

Sometimes, you do have to wonder whether or not he adds anything significant as a whole. However, after working alongside such a boring stiff such as Joe Theisman for a year, maybe this is the year that he comes into his own alongside Tirico and Jaworkski.

And do you think that Wilbon will be a special guest in the booth one week? I sure that enemies of PTI would love that.

I can't wait to read people's opinions on this...

I never liked Tony Kornhole because of his obnoxious delivery. I'd love to have him on my hockey team. That way, unlike any opponent, I'd have hundreds of chances to cross-check him due to practice sessions.

The guy MIGHT know sports, but he is a typical symptom of today's sports marketing machine. Loud, annoying, and controversial. He's one of several reasons why I lower the television volume to zero and let the game describe itself.

I really like Tony on PTI, but I didn't watch Monday Night Football all that much last year. I found Sunday Night Football to be more exciting, and I think John Madden and Al Michaels are the best thing to happen to NFL broadcasting in a while. I will tell you this, Kornheiser was way WAY better than Dennis Miller from a few years back when MNF was on ABC still. I'll try to pay more attention this year, homework permitting.

He was awful.
MNF was great in the hey days.
howard cosell, Frank and Dandy Don.
Then they had to cleaverize the show with
The Hammer, Alex Karas, Wanted to get funny.
Dennis Miller was complete bust.
MNF should just return to a two person announcing booth.
The game is the event, not the broadcast team.

If you are watching it in HD it is bad because his disgusting skin and the worst comb-over I have ever seen are enhanced so much that really don't hear was he says. When they do a close-up of him, I just look at the TV like someone farted in my face and I can't get the smell to go away.

He couldn't possibly be any worse than Dennis Miller was on MNF on ABC.
