No we are the sum of our experiences, both good and bad.
I am not the same person I was when I was 19, or even 30. My moral compass and my personal standards are still the same, but how I interact, my opinions and perspectives have changed over the years. I believe that we learn from our experiences and that we should use these as an opportunity to grow. I'm now glad I'm not that smart alec, know it all, you can't tell me kind of person anymore and believe i am a more rounded and compassionate person, now I don't have the natural arrogance of youth anymore. Life's lessons can be hard but it's what we make of them that counts, keep growing as a person, there is always new things to learn, every age has it's own benifits and drawbacks.

No, I don't think so. I do think we remain the same basic people inside as far as our basic values, but each experience we have changes us a little as we learn and grow from our accomplishments and mistakes. Yes, being an adult is quite different from growing up, we have a lot more responsibilites and we are more worldly as adults. I think we should always try to keep our childlike qualities such as being excited over the little things and accepting people as they are. Our personalities are formed by every experience we have and every person we encounter.

What ever you have learned in the past, whether you desired it at the time or not, becomes a part of you. It can in a way, make you a better person if you use those experiences to grow, improve upon, and use it for your good. On the other hand, I also believe that some experiences can be "forgotten." They can be forgotten through forgiveness, through repentance, through the help of others and God.

No, every thing you learn changes you. That does not mean that you can not be the same kind of person you were before something changed you. You determine how you react to things. Through prayer and guidance you can become even better than you were before. You have to learn how to filter the bad stuff out and keep ahold of the good stuff.

Life teaches u much more things.. so one cannot be as same as u were a year ago....
for example: as a child u were fond of toys, but if u grow up as an adult, u feel it was very silly to play with the toys..
so gotcha one thing..... change is only which never changes in life...

No you cant go back to the person you were.
Things you learn and experience over time and has you grow up change your views and perceptions on things. Thats not to say your main views and perceptions won't change back were, but previous experiences still effect those perceptions.

F Scott Fitzgerald was really a profound writer of great moment. In short .. you can do what you like Purps, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
