Laser hair removal! After doing it, the hair will hardly grow back.. and if you do it over a period of time, the hair will never grow back again.
The number of sessions depends on various parameters, including the area of the body treated, skin color, coarseness of hair, and gender. In addition, since hair grows in several phases and laser can only affect the currently actively growing follicles, several sessions are needed to kill hair in all phases of growth.
In general, it is necessary to foresee between 6 to 8 sessions. Coarse dark hair on light skin is easiest to treat. Finer hair and hair on darker skin is harder to treat and may require more treatments. Certain areas (notably men's and women's faces and men's backs, upper arms, and shoulders) may require considerably more treatments to achieve desired results.
It's important to note that laser does not work on light hair and very fine and vellus hair. Electrolysis is the only permanent solution for those types of hair.

Sounds like she is going through "the change". I guess she is at that stage of having flushes mood swings and being forgetful. I suggest a sex change then she can be proud of her beard and get on with the rest of her life.

Poor darling! this is NOT a funny situation. It could be an effect of the mighty menopause, resulting in hormonal imbalance. Your mum should see her G.P. who might prescribe H.R.T. Give her a big hug from me. I'm sure she needs it right now.

He husband doesn't sound very nice !!!
Bleaching it will make it a lot less noticable. Lazer therapy is expensive & shaving could make it worse.
If she pops into a beauty shop they should be able to give some good advice

hormones, & even some meds can cause facial hair growth.
Go to the Dr. & make sure it's not hormonal imbalance. If not then she could always wax to remove it.

i've watched this kind of thing on "Embarrassing illnessess." it is usually the result of male hormones in a woman's body that gone ABOVE the average. THERE IS A TREATMENT, GO TELL YOUR FRIEND'S MOM THAT HER G.P. KNOWS WHAT TO DO.
