good question one for President Bush. we cant police the entire world nor should we think we are the last word on what is right. we need to respect different cultures. I fear for the futrue of AMerica other nations are losing respect and hate us. but everyone just about will ntake our money we DO need to take care of ourselves. the rest will follow

What makes you think the United States feels it has to help every country? The percentage of the budget allocated to Foreign Aid is far below most other industrialized nations.
Denmark, for example, spends 1% of its budget on Foreign Aid, and the US spends .1%.

Most foreign aid is used to purchase influence and power,
sometimes in the country receiving the aid, sometimes with constituents at home.
Also...it's more comfortable to tsk-tsk over other people's problems than it is to confront one's own failings.
