i have this fighting game i play online and its controller compatible i tried searching for a controller to buy but all the ones i saw were for shooter games anyone got any ideas or recommendations?

Please, for the love of computers do NOT get a Logitech one,. I bought one, paid £30 for it,. and the ****ing thing failed to work within a week of owning,. tried to get my money back, told that 'I' had damaged it and they refused to give me a refund. ****ers!
Go look up some stuff on www.newegg.com, and look for items with 5 gold eggs,. then look for the one that has the most number of personal reviews,. that way you get to know what's good and what's not. ;) People often talk about what games they'll use it for,. so you should, in theory get a good idea what's the right controller for you.
If you don't live in the UK,. copy and paste the manufacturers code for the product you've seen that you like and paste it into a search engine for a local store near you, see who else stocks it.:) Good luck, have fun kicking ***.

A joystick or joypad will be enough for it
