Interviewing is his profession, why would he will get less respect?

2007-06-29 23:21:06 · answer #1 · answered by KripaKaran 3 · 0 0

Yes. He bumped Michael Moore who was going to talk about health care in America, a serious issue, for Hilton. Also he didn't ask Hilton any hard-hitting or interesting questions. It seems he's jumped on this celeb bandwagon. I thought people like A.J. Hammer, Harvey Levin, etc. were obsessively covering Miss Hilton. Why does King have to do it also? I guess it's all a ratings thing.

No. He is serving the public's interest by interviewing Paris. People are genuinely fascinated, or repulsed by, Paris Hilton and she always rates highly.

Larry King does NOT have to endorse, respect, approve of, or otherwise pander to, any interviewee in order to professionally be a great broadcaster.

Why would respect for Larry King have anything to do with who he interview?

No. My respect for Larry King has been declining the past few years anyway. I'm not sure if he's even awake anymore. He just seems like a stubborn old man. It's time for him to be replaced, but he's not letting go.

Errr...no...I respect him the same as before (very little). Larry King makes his living by interviewing celebrtities, intelligent or not. As long as people will watch, he will do it. He never asks any of his guests any tough questions (its all rehearsed anyway) so it's all a "show".

It was a smart career move on his part. Didn't he have like the number one ratings that night? Larry King hasn't had ratings like that in a WHILE.

I haven't had respect for Larry King for a long time...this just reaffirmed my opinions of him.

Ya, I had just as much respect for him as I had for PH in the first place.

None.
