mefemanic acid and birth control pills?

do they match? i still get cramos while on the pill Mycrogynon 30 and i take mefemanic acid to treat the cramps, is it safe? does the effectiveness of the pill wear out?

Mefemanic Acid (also known as Ponstel) is an anti-inflammatory but it is very good for helping cramps. I've been using it off and on since I was introduced to it in 1997.

I am also on the pill and I have had no problems with the two medications when it comes to effectiveness of the birth control pills.

You should be ok, but check with your dr as well to see what they say.
