Elton John far exceeds Micheal Jackson as far as talent, songwriting, and his choice of sexuality. MJ is a sick perverted piece of child molesting garbage. Unfortunately he has enough money to buy his way out. I have no problem with gay people, but worry about his kind. I have children. Most of Jacksons songs were written and composed by musicians / songwriters, Elton John is an excellent songwriter / musician / performer, and will always have a place in my heart.

Michael Jackson has the best selling album ever with "Thriller" and has been consistently succesful since the early 1970's.
Elton John has the best selling single ever with " Candle in the Wind " and has been consistently succesful since the early 70s so you could make an argument for both as " King of Pop"
However if there is only one "King" then it has to be Elvis. He was the first and changed popular music forever .

Perhaps if your argument included premises I'd be able to make some sort of connection. But I'm not interested enough to make them for you, so your incomplete argument will have an incomplete answer.
