If it's not an acual photo of them do you try to imagine what they look like?
Is your mental image similar to their photo when you do see them?

not as much anymore cause I've been around here long enough to know better.
I quit wondering what everyone looks like. now they "are" their avatar. simple.

I think it shows the personality of the person by what they pick as their avatar. Creating an avatar is a conscience choice of chosing what you want to represent you to the world. When I look at everyone else avatar, I try to imagine what they are like, not what they actually look like

I've tried to make my avatar as near as I can to how I look. But I've found most times when I get a mental pic of someone from their avatar its nothing like the way they look at all! My old mans avatar looks just like him!!

All the avatars look so young, it's hard to tell anything about the person other than what they put on their profile. Personally I have my real picture and a little bio about me in my profile.

Yes I do and its probably a good thing, If everyone had a pic of themselves for their avatar I think there might a lot of unecessary answers if ya get my meaning

Yes.. in my case it's as close as a picture to me I could get ( i'm not computer literate and don't know how to attach a real photo) but in your case I'd say no.lol

I don't judge anyone by appearance. It is what they say and their body language that would reflect what their personality. I do think most users somewhat resemble their Avatar. Mine strongly resembles me.

Nope. I hardly ever look at the avatars.
