I'm looking for a reason to keep my job (something to spend my money on.) but I just can't find anything. I'm 16 and work alot, and my parents have pretty much outlawed anything with a motor or a trigger (which is bad for me). Any suggestions on why I should show up to Dominos every day?

1) Thanks to the people with reasonable answers.
2) I'm 16. "Stock" means "unmodified" to me.
3) Dominos is an international pizza delivery service owned by MAC Pizza Management. They pay me. I don't play the game dominos.

I'd invest it. Buy some stocks. Rather than buying random stuff now, by the time you're my age you'll be wealthy. Then you can buy nice things with motors and matched sets of Brownings.

You won't be 16 forever. Why not save for your first car? You'll be old enough before you know it to be on your own and make your own decisions, and you'll want a nice car then, I'll bet. Or, save for your first apartment and furnishings. Certainly you don't want to live with your parents and play dominoes for the rest of your life, do you?

It's real nice to have a chunk of money in the bank when you're all done with school and want to move out on your own and be independant!

Are you creative? I've found being creative and selling your work is very very profitable. I started making wire wrap jewelry about 4 years ago. I now do over $6,000 a month from internet sales. I am one of the lucky ones who have built a business from the ground up and can keep it growing. Learn something... and then teach others. There is a large market for handcrafted jewelry. Things that make money in this field are wire wrap and mixed media jewelry. Stay away from macromay and hemp jewelry... no market... let alone the profit margins are terrible.

By keeping your job and showing up every day you are showing future employers that you have a work ethic and you will have a good reference for your resume when you are out of school and looking for full time employment.

Try saving your money for college or tech school expenses or for a big ticket item when you are 18.

It really isn't too early to open up a retirement account! The sooner you start putting a little bit into it the more interest will accrue and the more money you will have for retirement!

I am sure your parents are looking after your best interests. You could put your money into a savings account until you are old enough to buy what you want.

You're not supposed to just spend it as fast as you make it. Put it away so you can have a nice car or a down payment on a house.

you're right you do need a hobby but in my opinion the best thing you can do for yourself is to start saving money. you're only16 and believe me you really don't know how badly you will need it later in life. yes money is the root of all evil but it also helps you survive in this world that is indifferent to you, your needs, or your wants. I hate money but you gotta do what you gotta do
