going back to work after marternity leave or not going back?

I took the full year off work 6 months smp and 6 months unpaid...im due to return around the 2nd of aug but also have holidays i have to take...if i take the holidays and dont return to work what happens and if i dont take the holidays and dont return to work do i have to pay anything back

That is something you need to look up in the employee handbook, or call someone in human resources. Where I come from it sort of varies from company to company. But then too, from where I come from I can't think of too many holidays anywhere in August.
