I am now at the point in my life where i may choose between becoming a drinker smoker, and occasional drugger. i admit to doing all three on occasion. but now i want to figure it out for life. to tell you the truth id rather be sober forever. but temptation is so strong and i am so confident when i abuse these substances. in fact i find that i can do whatever i want when im a lil buzzed. i have goals and have dreams. i am going to cal poly for a bio major. however none of my friends are going to college and i feel like if i dont make this decision now i will doom myself for the future. my question is: has anyone else ever experienced this in their lives?

yeah you can do alot when your buzzed. esp thing you wouldn't normally do.
like receive a felony that could follow you forever.
play it smart.
do your stuff, but don't let your stuff do you.
these "drugs" usually stand in the way of your goals.
Been there done that. I see the light now. It took me 30 years.
Life is much better now, that I let it (drugs/alcohol) all go
yup, bud is still a lesser of all the evils. You can't change my mind about that.
oh....... I get it. (wink wink)

They say successful people are best to associate with. If you want to be successful. I'm not trying to tell you what to do. However, your friends seem to be bringing you down. You also seem self destructive. There is a book named, Your Hearts Desire: Instructions For Creating The Life You really Want, by Sonja Choquette. I suggest you read it and any other self help, increasing your self esteem, or positive thinking books or information you can. If you'd really rather be sober forever. Then maybe you should consider the best high.
Get high on life.

Until you get piss drunk, Slap a random woman in a 24 hour McDonald's...puke in a strangers convertible while hot wiring it to go score some rocks. And f*** a dirty prostitute in the puke car after smoking said rocks. Wake up under a Bridge with a fresh stab wound a dead cop.

Choose to follow your dreams. Don't let drinking, smoking, and drugs get in the way. My grandpa died of smoking. I know it's hard not to get tempted it's Really Hard. But you can do it! Can I introduce you to my friend Jesus? You see, he sees your dreams right now, and he knows you can achieve them. Ya know, he created you and he knows that you have times where life seems awful and it would be better to forget it for awhile with drugs and stuff, but don't. He died so that you could have a new life. Hope. He loves you and he knows what you are going through. Why don't you get aquainted with him?

Oh man don't give your life up for any drugs or drinking, my sister's ex- husbend did that stuff and then some, and now he is in prision for robery trust me that stuff brings harm and not good, what kept me away from drugs and drinking was God Almighty and I'm glad he did, maybe if you give him a chance, then maybe you'll get your wish if you stick with God.

only do the legal stuff. smoking and drinking. you dont want to get a record for possession to follow u around for the rest of ur life. but you can still have fun with alcohol and cigarettes

i think that u need to give that stuff up... yeah you will always be tempted even years down the road... just the smell or soemthing small like that will make u want it.. but just try and get passed that and get your life on track
