IF THE WORLD LEAVES AFRICA ALONE, THEN THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED!

Africa is as miserable as today because Europeans sucked too much out of Africa during empire ara...

- murdered more than 94,000,000
- slaved more than 45,000,000
- forced them to buy European products with high price
- store their resource and labor for more than 400 years
- destroyed African nature

Rampage of advanced countries on Africa still continues...only difference is that they Africans have political independenc. (but still slave economically)

What do you expect them to do, HUH?

gandamack2...you don have the right to blame Hitler and Stalin because you are not that diffrent from those legendary maniacs. Actually, A LOT OF white guys are Hitler themselves when it come to the issue of Asia and Africa.

But do not worry. Your glory is finally coming to the end, and it won be pretty. Rising Asia will kick your *** as they had been doing for thousand years before industrial revolution

Spiderman

I just saw the second movie and he can do just about anything!

I'm not sure that the entirety of Africa wants to be saved. Many of the people I know that live in various countries throughout the continent have fine lives and their nations are not wrought with the turmoil of Sudan, etc. If I were to take a trip through the city in which I live, I am confronted with wholesale poverty, 50% unemployment, an infant mortality rate worse than that of many African countries. So, can I, then, rightfully ask who is going to save America?

Very good points; I believe its only savior is the African Union which was formed in 2001, consists of 53 African states, and has a population of over 850,000,000.

Africa lacks oil- so America is not too concerned. The United States still has a very bitter taste from Somalia (remember the movie "Black Hawk Down"?).

I firmly believe when the African Union takes a firm and bold position, it will be able to alleviate many of its continent's conflicts. Concurrently, the African Union must build its infrastructure, allow its citizens paths to a better life through education, and strive to eliminate poverty. This in turn will build a strong Africa, being strengthened, constructed, and built by Africans for Africans.

Who wants to? And who the hell could save a whole continent, and why should they? I don't know if you have noticed but most countries have problems of their own citizens to address without taking on the problems of others.

Have you heard of self determination? Each country in Africa needs to save itself and stop waiting for some miracle from outside when it is obvious that is not going to happen.

Why are you asking? If you're so concerned, hop on a plane and go see what you can do.

If Africans don't save themselves, no one else will. They have to learn to be the dominating force and make change, even though casualties will occur. They're too afraid of those few in charge to make the changes necessary for peace.

those countries were fine under the White European colonial rulers...the entire place went downhill and suddenly needed "saving" only when the locals were allowed to determine their own direction and fate...they got what they were asking for and so why do we have to worry about stepping back in and "saving" them now?....its their problem that they asked and fought for...let them learn by their own mistakes...
