I hate those excuses about o theres so much fast food, and blah blah blah. Some people generally have it in their genetics, or have health problems etc....
But some fat people are just lazy. Go out play sports, workout, and dont just always eat the fast food.
Its the kids fault for being lazy, parents fault for letting them be lazy.

I don't think being over-weight is a problem...
But I do think that when children have high-blood pressure...
or heart conditions... high cholesterol... or even just don't know how to control their eating habbits... it is bad for the child.
But being over-weight by its self isn't bad at all...
it is a myth that all heavy-people have health problems. Some people are naturally big. And some heavy people are actually healthier than thin people.

i think kids or people in general being overweight is a bad thing. im not saying everyone needs to be anorexic thin since that's not good either but i think people dont know how to balance their health and studies/work...what do you get out of being over weight? like...serious question...NOTHING! unless you live in freezing environments (animals that live in the cold have large amounts of fat to keep them warm). if more people are overweight including our kids there are more health risks. if your physically healthy and mentally healthy you can work better in school/work since well...your healthy. japan makes their office workers do basic stretches and exercises to keep their employees awake, alert, and healthier since the japanese has no time to just randomly go to the gym (japan is full of workaholics).
its happening because parents let their kids stuff themselves with soda, junk food, fried food, and candy. parents (and grown ups alike) need to regulate what they eat! sure ide love to eat ice cream everyday and alot of it but i know its probably not good for me to eat so much sweets so u have self control. and too many parents are letting their kids be entertained by TV and video games! go take a walk with your kid daily! or something that involves moving those muscles! you can be healthy and bond with your kids at the same time!

If kids did some sort of physical activity instead of playing video games all day, then this wouldn't be a big problem.

Why is it a big problem? Diabetes, coronary disease, early death, no problem there I guess.
Fast food, no exercise, instead they eat junk food, watch TV and play video games.
