Nope, tonight was my night out. He had to stay home and watch the kids. I came upstairs to turn the computer off and now I am stuck on Answers.
You should definitely start having your own night out. You can still spend time with your man and also have time for yourself. Even if you just catch a quick movie or browse the book store. You don't have to stay out late and get sloshed with your girlfriends if it is not your style. If you have your free time it will probably be less irritating when he has his. It may even make him appreciate your time together more.

Yes and it's been this way for over 21 years. Luckily yours does it just once a week. It could be worse. And I can understand wanting to just be with him even if he's with his friends. Heck why not....I know for a fact some of the other men have thier girlfriends or wives with them. I used to feel the same way. Now, I'd rather he go out....stay out...heck sometimes I wish he doesnt come home because when he is home all he does is grumble about everything. Small things like not flushing the toilet after I pee or the cat (which on somedays he shows love for the cat) walking in his way or he'll be mumbling about something. It irritates me but I try to ignore it. And I find time to get away from him and the kids. Everyone needs a little peace and quiet to themselves and to be able to do something enjoyable and relaxing for them selfs. Like you, I dont care for a girls night out. Instead I'll go to the beach or a mall or even grab a book and remove myself from them to anywhere I wish and can be alone even if that alone place means my bedroom.Shucks, I even used to feel guilty if I had an ice cream and they werent having any. But I dont feel guilty more lol and I make sure I dont eat any in front of them. That wouldnt be nice of me. So I'll chill at Baskin & Robbins once in a while....guilt free :-)
Anyways girl you arent alone. Feel free to email me. Perhaps we can keep each other company sometime online lol I can never have too many friends :-) Take care. Peace!!

Yeah that's why I'm getting a divorce...among other issues. I'm so sick of his having a good time...it has ruined our marriage because his fun has lead to unstoppable addictions that made him into a monster. I can't even say I'm second his life Johns world is 1.Drinking/drugging/parties
2. work 3. friends 4. any stranger down the street.....There is not enough hours in the day, or days in the week, for my kids and I to be included in his little world. When he was home he was a monster...either coming off dope, craving it, hung over, or plain picking a fight with me just to have an excuse to go out. Leave him...I did.

Ok if you are going to post a question like this, you are fishing for an answer. I will not answer this like you want people on here to. I need more facts, like does he do this often?
Fact is men need to blow off steam and have a good time once in a while. It is unfair for a woman or partner to deny them this. Many times I have sat home with the kid while the wife goes out and has fun, I am not sitting home feeling sorry for myself I am happy she went out and got to relax and unwind some.
If it really bothers you, then it might be a good time for a girls night out this weekend.

No women should be treated that way. His doing more then out with the guys!!! Any women in the right state of mind will tell you that!!! He puts you second to his friends, so why would you let him do that? Tell him if he wants to continue to go out every Friday then your going out every SATURDAY. Then do it. Yes it will be hard at first because you want to be with him but fact is he wants to be with his friends then you. So go out yourself. Once he See's your coming home late hours he'll start wondering where you are and what your doing. If he accuses you of cheating then his telling on himself. Then you'll know what his doing for sure.

Get a sitter and go find out what he is doing. I would make a bet he is cheating on you. Don't tell him, just sneak in and watch him, see what he is really up to. Or hire a Private Eye and have him followed.
He can't take his wife and flirt with the women in the bar, now can he? He is totally disrespecting you. You are his wife and he should not go to the bar alone ever.

He never did it while the kids were here, but now he thinks he can since they are all grown. It would not be bad if he would just take me out at least once a month and on vacation. We have the money, but his alcohol comes first. If you don't stop it now it will never stop.

As the saying goes - what's good for the goose is good for the gander! - maybe you should go out all night (even if just once) - to make him realize what it feels like. Maybe then he would like the time alone with you - instead of with his buddies!!

Why would you want to be taken along? I could think of a million more fun and interesting things to be doing than sitting there, unwanted, watching a bunch of grown men get drunk and act like idiots.
