Unlocked cell phone with any plan?

If I have sprint, and I buy an unlocked motorola pebl, can I use it on my sprint plan?

Sprint and Verizon uses CDMA technology. Overall the majority of unlocked phones uses GSM technology meaning their phones require sim cards. The motorola pebl phone uses GSM technology and requires a sim card on the back of that phone. Because of this, the motorola pebl is not compatible with Sprint.
