I don't think a soccer ball can break the ankle bone. It might have been sprained or dislocated. Ask your dad if the guy was a doctor and why he took you there. That just sounds wrong.

If it was strained / sprained, having someone yank on it just did more damage to the tendons.

If it was dislocated, then he was putting it back into place, which would explain why you can barely move it right now. All the tendons and ligaments have been strained beyond their normal bounds. They will be incredibly sore, tender, and swollen.

If it was fractured, it needs to be put in a cast to prevent it from moving around. It might need screws and plates to set it right.

Get thee to a doctor immediately and get it Xrayed to find out what is wrong. It should not have been reset unless the guy was a doctor. If he was a doctor, he should have told you what to do next and how you are going to feel.

I really don't understand why you would go to some old guys house so he can pull on an already injured ankle. Are you nuts? And a chiro. better take an X-ray, but chiros are not as versed as to finding a fracture as an MD, who sees many more cases, would be. I would go to an ortho guy to find out what you did and then what happened when the old guy made it worse.

MMM a chiropractor may be plan b. Right now it needs an xray. It could be a fracture. Sometime you can walk with fractures. You could have to ligaments who knows. I would defiantly have a MD look at it before the Chiropractor.

I think that I wouldn't wait until tomorrow; I'd go to the ER tonight. If it IS broken (and it could be), you don't want it to stay in the wrong position any longer than necessary. If it heals wrong now, it could mean surgery later, whether it's broken or just sprained.

In order to know if your ankle is broken, it needs to be x-rayed. It could very well be broken.

if you are wondering if you broke it then its not. but go to a doctor quick before it gets more messed up. and why are you going to a chiropractor if its your ankle, they are for spines and backs..?
