Life has taught me that everyone needs the Lord. Even those who say they dont. If they dont believe in the Lord, he cant help them. This is what I have learned. The Bible says

"You have not because you ask not." I asked for my hearts desire, and finally got it

Now, who says there is no God?

Life has taught me that life is unpredictable, there's good and bad, and you won't appreciate the good unless you have experienced the bad. There's an old TV show called The Twilight Zone. In it a man dies and goes to a room with a pool table. Another man greets him (presumably St. Peter) and says he can play pool all he wants. He enjoyed pool during his life so he was very happy about this. Every shot he made was perfect. This was great in the beginning but after a while it got boring and frustrating. There was no challenge. No matter what he did, or how he screwed up, the balls went into the right pockets every time. St. Peter came back into the room and the man said to him, "I know this is supposed to be Heaven but I don't like it at all." And St. Peter replies, "What makes you think this is heaven?"

Life has taught me that everything I learned that was valuable the first 20 years, means absolutely nothing to me in the second 20 years. The brand of clothes I wear, the amount of money I have in the bank, the price of my house, my car, the amount of friends I have, the firmness of my abs, the title behind my name at work. None of these things matter, what matters is the smile on my granchildren's faces, the look in my husbands eyes when he tells me I am the only woman in the world for him. The comfort in knowing that we are debt free, the ability to look into the future and see that no matter what happens, our eternity is secure. That it doesn't matter how much money we have in the bank, if we aren't using it to help others, the friends that we have are the truest of friends, our children, grandchildren, our love for each other and Christ, that is what matters, when you give freely of what God has blessed you with, whether it is love, kindness, money, skills and talents, that is where you find true fulfillment. Great question!

I've had a team working on this over the past few weeks, and, uh, what we've come up with can be reduced to two fundamental concepts. One: people are not wearing enough hats. Two: matter is energy. In the universe, there are many energy fields which we cannot normally perceive. Some energies have a spiritual source which act upon a person's soul. However, this soul does not exist ab initio, as orthodox Christianity teaches. It has to be brought into existence by a process of guided self-observation. However, this is rarely achieved, owing to man's unique ability to be distracted from spiritual matters by everyday trivia.

Life has taught me that life is like a roller coaster, you have to go through the low times to be able to appreciate your time at the top. May as well sit back and enjoy the ride!
Life has also taught me that I am not in control, that I am in the hands of the Most High God. I have had to learn to let go and let God. I just can't do it on my own! God has shown me how dependent I am on Him. So instead of doing things on my own, I just give it all to God and the Lord always takes care of me!
May the Lord bless you, Lady Eagle!

Life has taught me that no matter how bad a situation looks I will come out on the other side of it OK.
We have all faced times that we thought we would not make it through this time. The death of a loved one, the loss of a job.
I faced both of those and also several strokes and yet here I am.

Life has taught me that God really does exist, knowledge is very powerful, and you have to love yourself before anyone else can love you.
Also, Life has taught me that if I could redo it knowing what I have learned than I would have defiantly been more focused, understood that when you do get older you do get a little wiser and that you really aren't untouchable when you are in your teens /young adult era.
